We turned 5.50s and 60s on 300' dirt with our 13/1 built lowered 400exs but our bikes are capable of more when we learn how to keep the front end down better. They should go in the 40s easily. We have only been twice and will play with gearing more this year. A stock 400ex has turned some 6.00s and a lowered ,Sparks piped, and FCR carbed 400 turned 5:7s which is impressive for a stock engine.

I have a raptor and a 250r honda. The raptor is on alcohol with stock gearing. It has stock headpipe and a FMF power coreIV slip on. I have a wheelie bar that I bolt on for these sand drags (300 feet). My raptor runs 5.72 - 5.8 at 52 mph. I run stock gearing. I take off in first gear and run through the end in third gear. I will try the next race with a 14 tooth sprocket on it.
My 250R is highy modified for sand drags. It runs 4.7's at 63mph consistantly, with 1.7 sixty foot times.
This is where I race at

for those on dirt what tires. i would never get enough traction with balding razrs. my stockes are still in decent shape but what about something else? size? also if i went back to my 13 front but a 41 on the rear wouldn't it be a little lower than stock but not as low as a 12 up front.
