I've got a Raptor with the Pro-Design filter set up with the K&N filter. When I modded my stock airbox for the K&N, there were some ribs left in there that rubbed thru the first layer of screen on the outside of the filter and also the Outerwear. I called Pro-Design and they want a ton of ca$$h for the setup. Does anyone know anywhere else that sells a replacement filter and Outerwear for the Pro-Design adapter? Just shopping around for the best price and if it is at Pro-Design, they'll get the order. Thanks.

Did you cut away those ribs? I did a post awhile back discussing this issue. I had the same problem but caught it before any real damage. (except for outerwear) Be sure to sand away any rough edges. Best to cut out anything that will contact the filter. JMO

For some reason I can't find the filter there anymore. I know I saw it somewhere. Thought it was at RMATV. How much did pro design want?

 

Pro-Design wanted around $80 for the set up so about $10 more than what you saw. I could almost buy another set up with the foam filter and adapter for that price! I'll continue looking. I know I saw it somewhere too. . . .

 

Call K&N, they're in Riverside, CA. They'll probably know which model it is and then you can check around with other shops. Try Hy-Tech ATV in Yucaipa, CA. Their prices are very reasonable. Ask 411 if you don't have the number for either of these places.
