Lately Ive been looking at either the 300ex by Honda or the 4x4 Wolverine350 by Yamaha. and I was wondering which Quad I should get to best suit my needs. I will be going through 1-2 Ft of mud/water, I would be trail riding , Using it for hunting (hauling deer out of the woods), Fields, Woods, Hill Climbing and a Little Mx/Quad track next to my house. And keep in mind...I LOVE to go FAST and Later down the road I would like to add some Mods to my Qaud so I need to know if there are a lot of mods available for the Wolverine, (I know that there are TONS of mods for the 300ex). I heard that the tops speed of the wolveing was around 60 and the 300ex was around 55, (Correct me if i'm rong)... And also do you know the Wolveine's HP rating? The 300ex is like 16.9 HP.... And Wich Qaud would be most Reliable and Confortable? So It would be helpfull if you could help me out on my questions, to let me know wich Quad I should get. Thanx!!!!

if your going through mud and using it for hunting, id say wolverine, 300ex wont go through much and wont tow much being it is a sport fourwheeler and wolverine is a sport/ute. wolverine is also 4x4 and has some decent speed on it... good suspension, good turning... both machines are great, but if your using it for work to, wolverine

The Wolverine is rated at between 18 & 20 hp, depending on who's Dyno you're using.

I think in your case the warrior is a better choice. WAter and mud 1-2 feet is nothin. I can ride that stuff on my blaster. Just gotta pick the right gear. plus the warrior has a lot of mods u can add to it. In the april edition of atv action it said that when mods are added to a wolverine, more engine work has to be done than other quads

The type of ridding you are going to be doing you would love a wolverine. My friend has a 300ex its nice but when you get a little older and ride the kids and use it hunting the hand clutch gets in my way.
When I am on my own I can blast through the woods no problem. I can relax and ride or releave some stress and still pull a cart around and mulch my landscape.
Rain or shine we will be busting it saturday.
