Congratulations! You own one of the most popular quads, if not THE most popular quad, ever! This acceptance, year after year, says something about the product.

I think you'll get lots of enjoyment and pleasure from your quad, exploring its capabilities and limitations yourself; then, maybe you'll share YOUR opinion of your own quad.

Best wishes,

Tree Farmer

Best 4 x 4 ever made . I have owned 4 Honda 300 4 x 4s in the past and my daughter still has one . The one she owns is a 1991 . We have never had any problems with any of them . I live in Canada and I have always been able to sell a used 300 4 x 4 for $4,500 . even when it was 2 to 4 years old .

I currently have a 98 with 24/25 super swampers, warn winch, lift kit, 3RD headlight as far as mud goes it depends on the type. I've seen them go through 16" mud with water another 12" but have seen them get stuck in 6" mud. Tires will make all the difference in the world. They are ultra reliable.

i recently, aug., bought my first atv, and decided to go with the 300 4x4,, got a used '96 for about 3000, which at the time, before news of rancher, was a great deal, and it was rarely used and kept inside and in great condition... the seller had already put the full floor boards on ( a must) and the oxlite boot guards on the front.. ( a must).. i have since then, put two more Hella day lamps on the front, and a Warn Winch. the winch mount for the 300 goes up under the "hood".. you can see pictures of it from the link to yahoo briefcase below...

all in all, i've been happy with it, it's reliable, fun, fast, go anywhere kind of toy.

oh, one more thing, i almost didn't get it because i wanted a bigger engine... though i'm glad i didn't for my first one. the 300 is more than enough for me, and a buddy on the back. and i'm 6'2" and probably near 225. i was extremely pleased with the power... i doubt you'll be disappointed with it..

let me know if you have more questions.. cause i probably just went through what your going through now..

-brian.

ok, i'm new to this, and its my third try at sending a reply, should have read my whole e-mail and figured out I needed to put a conformation code in. Anyways, I recently purchased a blue 94 Honda 300 4x4 for $2500, it was almost like buying one off the show room floor. Factory tires, no scratches on the plastic, old man rode it around, it was in excelent condition. So far it has been a good four-wheeler, it has taken me almost everywhere I have wanted to go. It has taken some abuse, I let my girlfriend ride it from time to time, so you know it can't be all that bad. I also have many friends that own Honda 300's, and they have all been excellent four-wheelers, so you'll never here no complaints about them from here.

I have a '96 Honda 300 4x4, and i got it for 20$ new! I bet your all jealous, I won it at a drawing in front of a super market! Well, I have gone through water up to the bottom of the seat, and only showing a TINY bit of the fenders and the racks, seat and Bars, its a great little machine, it takes me anywhere and can PULL A LOT I pulled a 6000 LB boat that had its tires sunken about 3 inches in sorta hard dirt, the amazing part it is rated to pull 850 lbs, soo this was truly amazing, it is not the best in any aspect, but it a great all around machine, and it has a nice top end, it pulled away from my buddy's Polaris Xplorer 300, but he KILLS me on the acceleration!

I hope you all like your machine, It is officially the most popular machine on EARTH! MOST SOLD THAN ANYOTHER!

i can tell you from first hand experience that you have a great bike. i have a 99 300 praire4x4 and my friend has a 99 300 fourtrax4x4. being stuck in the mud has alot to do with the rider. this guy can be stuck and then with a little body movement and some creative positions on the bike he is comming out like a bat out of hell. his bike is stock except for super swampers . i have vampires and he can go where i go 98% of the time. keep riding and good luck
