I own a 660 grizz right now, I would also like a sport machine too.
I know this is a yamaha fourm, so please give your honist opinion.

 

what would you want with two of the same quad . get the raptor or 400ex or a blaster and use the that money that would have went to the other blaster and mod it like crazy.

 

Go with RAPTOR or at least a Banshee no 400EX you will get tired of it real quick.. my .02cents

 

badfordman~I hope you go with the Raptor, but it really depends on your ability as a rider. Maybe a 400EX will be better for you though. I also suggest looking into a Cannondale.

 

if I had the money, I'd get a Raptor, reverse the front wheels, and pipe it!

and this is coming from a guy who is completely happy with his 400EX

I had a 600 Grizz last year, and I now own a 400 ex and a raptor. Get the raptor. Very fast, handles well, and can be modded for cheap. But don't loan it to any newbies, unless you like repairing it.

 

Does the 400ex handle way better? Or is it similiar but with way more power.

 

i rode the raptor and it freakin fly's. so if i were you and i had enough to buy a raptor thats what i would buy without any questions asked. that and with the raptor you have reverse also. you wouldn't believe how fast the raptor is and the torque that great.
