was there an increase in people running Raptors at the MX tracks? especially in the amature divisions

 

i see them race around here, they always loose, because of there handling, the 250rs and 400ex always win.

 

That's funny, I raced my raptor last year against all types of quads and placed first in my class. Absolutely smoked them all on the holeshot. The raptors handle fine on an mx track and do just as well as any other quad. It's 99% rider anyway.

The 250Rs run up front out here but there is a kid on a Raptor that is in the top 3 in his class expert.

 

I will be racing in the open class of the local AMA district this year on my raptor. I'll keep you all informed about how I do!

I saw a race here that had a Raptor in it. He was running second to a 250r. He was whupping up on some 400ex's and banshee's. He was real fast. I was surprised how good he was doin.

Plus it don't help when a banshee rider fell off and got ran over by his own banshee. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

My boyfriend races a Raptor and he kicks everyones a$$ in his class (interm) and most of the pros. There is only 1 or two pros here that are faster than him, but not by much. Raptors are fine on the track with someone who has the huevos to pin it and ride it the way it was meant to be ridden!
