I can lift my DS front end in 3rd,if I get way back on it and pinn it,but it is real scary!.It will power wheelie in 1st and 2nd all day long.I can lift my 400 EX front end in 5th if I hit a small bump on the ground, but the EX front end is so much lighter then my DS front end. What about you guys?Any 4th gear wheelies out there?

Yes,and at that speed, wind becomes a big factor because it will pull you back and over,if not done with precision.

1st gear no problem, 2nd gear I have to pull on the handlebars to get the front end up, 3rd and 4th only if im on pavement, again pulling hard on the bars.

I can't wheelie in any gears without scaring the heck out of myself, but I think that's just me. I'm pretty convinced the ability to perform a wheelie is 90% rider and 10% machine. Too bad my 90% isn't as good as my 10%. If I ever get my wish and get the time to take my quads out every other weekend, I may be able to fix that. I envy all of the people who can walk out their back door, hop on their quad and take it for a spin.

The highest gear I can is 3rd. 1st & 2nd are easy, I gotta get good traction in 3rd to pick it up though.
I'm not much of a wheelie rider. In fact if I ride a wheelie in any gear for longer than 5 seconds I'm quite pleased with myself. I find the long wheelbase of the DS harder to balance then my girls EX.

Nice Tecate, you are sooo lucky to have what I always thought was the coolest quad ever.

Blackhawk's right - its rider skill. I can get my front end up easy in third, and if I do things just right 4th gear too, but maintainng it is a different story. Then again, I'm not running dominators. When those were on 2nd was the limit.
My 350X is the ultimate 4-cycle wheelie machine. 6th gear wheelies! And if you lose it, its only 300lbs. landing on you!
