Just had a Warn 2500 installed and was wondering if the 700 frame or for that matter can any ATV frame with stand that much stress (2500 lbs)?

 

i dont think so.and,youll never catch me anchoring the back of my quad to a tree and using the winch for anything. thats the only way i see that a 2500 winch would hurt it. by the way,my father-in-law bought a 700 and we pondered for the longest time on where you could mount the winch,WHERE DOES IT GO?!?!?!

There is definitely room for the winch in there. I have the Polaris-Warn 2500 kit on mine. It is a slick installation.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I've got the Warn 2500 on my SP700. It looks and works great. Check out MY PICS if you want to see where it mounts and how it looks.

scl135 that is the 500 mount not the 700 they need to get that up dated

 

Where can I get the 2500...and is a mounting kit required? What about the front bumper??? Will the fairlead fit on the bumper?

How much did the winch cost? How does the winch fit inth whole?
Can you do the install at home with no tools?
How about the multi mount for the rear too?
