i've heard that they are unreliable but the price is just right for me and i think it has everything i need for my warrior.
if anyone who has one can tell me how they like it would help a lot.
thanks!!

I've got one on my second quad, Lakota (wife's ride) and I like it pretty well. It did give me some gain but not a whole lot. With the K&N and proper jetting it got better low end. The finish isn't that great. The paint burns off after a while. I took mine back off and used ceramic paint and baked it on. It lasts alot longer.

eraptiod- thanks for the reply
when you said that it gave you some gain do you mean in speed or power. and was that after or before you did the jetting?
thanks!!!

The gain was in all around power after jetting - I was able to pull a tooth larger sprocket on the front of the Lakota for more top end as well. I also purchased a core insert called the COBRA HORSEPOWER CORE for $18 from Dennis Kirk. After I went to that core instead of the quiet core that comes in it, I had to jet up again and I gained alot more power and speed, mostly low to mid range power.

Hope this helps...

I put a Cobra quiet series on my bike....the finish is totally and utterly pathetic....I have it on about 3 months...(not really been in any mud to speak of)....the paint has almost completely burned off...

I have put 2 different Cobra pipes on my friends atv's. One was a 200E Honda ATC and after jetting it helped power, but only on top-end. The other was a very mildly ported (just cleaned up casting edges) Mojave. The cobra pipe actually seemed to make less horsepower than stock, and the torque was almost non-existant. It was also properly jetted. Both of these bikes were loud to the point of annoyingness. They both seemed to be louder than the 250x listed in my signature with a oversized header and 4" supertrapp muffler. Although it is probably the most expensive system, I would check out the supertrapp IDS-2 system. I had one on the 250x and loved it. Nice throaty sound, great range of adjustability, paint lasted a long time.
