Big Bear spanks Wolverine?????

Is this even possible??? I just got a 2000 wolverine and i dragged raced my big bear 400 4x4 and the bear killed it........ is this normal? what could be wrong with the wolverine?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

You're shifting too early. Unless there's something wrong with the Wolverine.
Give it some gas, and wait until the power starts to fall off before you shift.
I can't think of what else it would be.

thanks a lot man. I thought that could be it........i guess im just used to the torquey big bear's super-quick shifts.

I don't know about the newer Big Bears, but I've trail ridden with guys with 400 foremans and 400 kodiaks, and really left them in the dust, make sure your throttle linkage is set up right,and everything is in proper working order. Either that, or they've made some big improvements in the new big bears !!!

Thats pretty much impossible. I usually start out in second gear and that will be faster than 1st 2nd and 3rd in the bear. Unless some gearing changes have been made to the bear it is all torque.
