Painting Mojave Cases!
#1
I own a 1999 Mojave. It is white with a red frame. I got the idea of painting the cases from Kawi250's post about polishing them. I think it might look kinda cool with some red down there in the engine. It would look cool on the green Mojaves and the Lakota Sports too. I just wanted to know what you guys think about painting them, and what kind of paint I should use, like high temp paint for an engine block or something like that.
I still don't know if I will do this or not, but if I do I will paint up all of the covers like the clutch and water pump cover, and I will post pics if it happens.
Let me know what you think.

it would be awsome until the paint started to wear off where your boots rub
i have a 97 with a red seat and hood so it looks just like a 99 i like to put red paint where it says kawasaki on like the clutch cover and stuff also on the cylinder where it says doch 4 valve

Do you know if there is any type of clear coat that I could put over it without the heat messing with it. I can paint them red then put some clear coat over them, and that should help to keep the paint on longer.
