Have any of you guys seen this setup? It's in the new issue of ATVSport. It looks very cool and very expensive. I'm sure it will be around $600.00 or so. It comes with the single carb, manifold and airbox. Supposedly it's out and ready. Whoever gets one first needs to fill us in on the details!

If I remember correctly won't a single carb set up take away from the top end while increasing low end. If so would it be usefull for dunning, or would it be better suited for woods or moto-x racing?

They pick up about 5 hp on top over the stock carbs. The QS is very easy to adjust, easy to start and runs great in all RPM range. You guy with the Raptor are lucky because they are going into production with the QS for the Raptor. They did not get enough calls form the DS riders to go into production for it. I can run from Glamis to 6000ft on the same needle all the adjustments are on the out side.

There was a post here stating that the single carb made 5 hp over stock.

What I want to see is a dyno sheet showing that as well as a dyno sheet comparing the single with a pair of FCR's on a built 686. I have made that test using a single FCR and duals. The results were more mid and top hp with the duals -- more low-low mid torque with the single. For the $688 I would never consider the single over the duals.

I don't yet see any dyno info on Edelbrock's web site www.edelbrock.com, but it looks like the QwikSilver raptor kit makes most of the difference between 4K - 7K RPM's based on the dyno sheet at this site:
