ok im 16 years old and am coming off a 86 200sx which i have messed up and am selling,, the question i have to ask is what atv should i buy next??? it would have to be cheap(under $2000 canadian) and have full suspension, 4 stroke,(250cc+), and be very good in mud, i prefer electric start and shaft drive but it is not nessisary

i was thinking of getting a 91 moto 4 250 yamaha or if i could a 300trx but i will take all recomendations.

ps a sport quad is fine if the rear sprocket doesnt screw up like on my 200sx

For that kind of money, the two machines that you mentioned are probally going to be all that you find with the type machine you are looking for.

The Honda TRX 300 is a better overall buy than the Moto-4 though. And there are tons of modifications and accessories available for the Fourtrax that you will not find for the Moto-4.

If you want to with a more sporty ride, look for a used 300EX. No problems with the sprockets like the 200SX models. Just keep it adjusted properly and well lubed. The 300EX's chain tightening procedure keeps away the problems that plagued the 200SX.
