whats the top speed?
how many gears?
hows suspension?
reliable??
elec start?
any known problems?
thanks
mike
ps how does the warrior like mud?? and is the sprocket/chain reliable or is it like my 200sx

Hey fourtrax mike,
The YFM250 and YFB250 [Timberwolf] are good quads and the only problems I have noticed to be repetitive on them are deteriorating intake boots every few years on both models, and weak rear ends on the Timberwolf models. I can't count how many ring and pinion gear sets that I have sold for them, including stripped ring gear splines on the axle itself. This is usually caused by owners not maintaining their quads when they should. Keep the oil changed often and it shouldn't be a problem.
Top speed should be aound 50 mph for each of them. Never checked one.
Both have 5 speed transmissions.[They are basically the same engine]
Suspension is good on both models but is better on the Timberwolf. The Wolf uses MacPherson struts where the Moto-4 uses single A-arms.
Reliability issues I am aware of are posted above.
Both models have electric start. No more problems with their starters than any other model.
The Warrior does good in the mud to be a two wheel drive but it's weight is a little more heavier than other sport quads. Probally not enough to be concerned with though.
The problem with the TRX200SX models are that the chain adjustment is the worst that ever came on a Honda. It is known for throwing chains and premature sprocket wear
