Well i got my new kawi650 a couple day's ago. Here in Canada it's called the KVF650.I bought this bike for one purpose...recreation(FUN).I wanted 4x4 for snow and mud,and something with a fun factor in it.This is it!!!
What do i think? Unbelievable!!! Kawasaki built this bike with me in mind.I couldn't of picked a better machine.Everytime i lean on the throttle a huge smile comes across my face!!! This thing is a Beast!!!Bomb down
a dirt road and punch the throttle and this thing lurches
forward and pulls like a train!!! The sound from that lion of an engine under acceleration is pure music. Kawasaki detuned this engine alot before releasing it to the public...now i know why.The untapped potential of this engine is staggering and frightening. All in all i love this machine the ride, sound, look, and God that power!!! The name is a bit lame however,Prairie(U.S.) and KVF(Canada). It deserves something a little more baddass.

P.S. To all you brand bashers out there...We are all a priveledged lot no matterwhat you ride. Enjoy the sport for what it is...big boy's on big toy's having a blast!
Rob.

I can't wake to awaken a fiew more ponies with my pipe and air filter dynojet kit
still a few months, and the plaisure will be all mine

Gotta lov that power, but more is never enough.

Don't ride foolishely doe, I love the sport and would'nt wnat anybody getting injured, doing it!!

( Trie Big Mug Bugging tires and a lift kit, impressive improvement on handling and looks)

I can relate to the "open the throttle, and a smile comes accross your face" comment. I WAS looking at the 660 Grizz. I stopped in to a dealer that handled both brands, and was able to test ride BOTH bikes at(almost) the same time! I literally could jump back a forth. It was "lust" at first sight. The acceleration was phenomenal! It handled fast trails better than the Grizz, IMO. I was hooked!
Good luck with your new ride. Looks like ANOTHER joins the fold!

Hey EXT,,,I was just wondering if you changed the whole choke cables or just the spring?

When I took a look at it I decieded to change both .It was a pain to change so I did both. The new choke cable has better dirt boots . The old ones had no dirt boots on them at all.The dealer said that the cables had been updated twice since the original ones.
