Well, here in Northern Maine were the elevation is low there is not much snow left, however gamewardens are on the prowl for ATVer's riding on designated snowmobile trails. Most trails have now turned to mud and snowmobiles are not able to ride. I would like to know what the laws for spring time riding is in your areas. I own 60 acres of land and allow snowmoblie & ATV club to utilize my land for trails. I get free meals at meetings and free yearly membership. Pretty Cool huh!

Utah is starting to thaw out. Up to about 8000' is dry most places. We ride pretty much wherever we want, (of course I stay on the trails, lol)

"busting snowdrifts" is a right of passage into Spring.

take everything, leave nothing.

Still a lot of snow up here in VT. When we went out last weekend it was about 30 degrees so you could stay right on top of it. It was great.

All of the snow on our trails is usually gone by June 1st, however last year it wasn't gone until Mid June.

Check out this link below...The pic was taken on April 21st and this was at one of the lower elevations that we ride on so you know if this trail has snow on it then you are screwed because all of our other ones will too (this is about 1/8 mile from my parents house).

Have been out several times this year. Have been in 2 feet of snow (with the tires one foot off the ground and the ATV not going anywhere)down to just a few inches of snow. The snow is a blast, the mud it leaves behind is a blast, riding the ATV down a dry dirt road before you get to the snow and mud is a blast. Riding ATV's is so much fun they are probably going to outlaw it. Very happy with the Goodyear Mud Runners I purchased from treadepot.com. Replaced the original tires (wore them out) with the same size Goodyears, great upgrade.
