Get the Cannondale, much lighter in weight, more power, and excellent customer service from Cannondale! Cannondale has a refurbished program currently available. It's Fx400 and older Cannibals that were sent back to the factory and "freshened up" and are selling for $5000 through the dealer network if that dealer wants to participate, some are not apparently. I bought my FX400 last year, out the door price was $8300. I've heard new Cannibal's going for as low as $6500, but msrp is $6999.

Corndog, if you are looking for something that you don't have to "work on" such as changing transmission and crankcase oil and cleaning your air filter occasionally, then get a bicycle!! Do you honestly think a dirtbike has no maintenance or the new Suzuki Z400 or the DS650, get real!

Alot more maintenance, how do you figure? Have you even owned a DS650 to understand what the maintenance is on one? I have not but I would imagine it has oil that needs changed, filters that need replaced/cleaned, chains that need serviced/tightened, just like the Cannondale's. I'll bet it even has a carburator that you will have to rejet, just like the,,,,,, oh that's right, seeing how the Cannondale is far more advanced than any other quad, it doesn't have a carb to have to mess with or carb boots to fall off!!
Corndog, you keep forgetting what you have bought. You bought the most highly advanced, state of the art quad that has ever been built!!
Period!! You are to expect some quirks and maybe some different type of maintenance than a standard quad would require. This is a high performance sports quad that the world has never seen before, all aluminum frame, electronic fuel injection, computer controlled which gives you the ability to change fuel/air mixture on the fly!! The bottom line is you are not mature enough to own one of these machines and it would be in your best interest to sell it to someone who knows what they have and can appreciate it. Sell your C'dale and go buy a Blaster!!
