I have a Rolling LT250R frame that I want to put a different motor in, I was considering a 350X motor if I found a good deal because I want a four stroke, how big could I bore this engine and what other mods could I do to make it scream! Any other suggestions for motors for this frame??

Thanks Norm

I'm not sure what the maximum for a 350X motor actually is, but I know TC Racing has built them out to 495cc. A friend of mine races a 250X with a 350X engine built to 495 by TC. The motor puts out awesome torque! Give TC a call and see what he can do for you.

If you don't want to spend the big dollars on a resleeve and stroke job, the largest piston that Wiseco makes is 82mm which is 1mm larger than stock.

I wouldn't bother doing this (unless it's necessary) because you won't notice any difference, and then if you really need an overbore someday, you will be forced to resleeve or get a new cylinder.

So if you want the big cc's from a 350X, you will need to spend the money on an aftermarket resleeve.

The absolute largest displacement I have heard of for a 350x is 525cc's. Although I'm sure that the engine would produce an enormous amount of heat and wouldn't be reliable for extended rides.

It really depends on what the machine is used for in deciding how big to go.
