Hi everyone it's been about 24 hours since i sat in the saddle.I had to work all night, and slept most of the day. I bought a KIMPEX passenger seat today. Really nice, tailight built in and a place for your licence plate(here in canada you have to licence the bikes)Check them out on KIMPEX's website.I'm a little concerned about the wheelie factor with someone in the seat(I know your not supposed to carry a passenger)
My brother took the bike up the road today and when he came back he was slowing down and let off the throttle and I noticed a whine type of sound almost like a plane? it 's the best way i can describe it. Any thoughts? The performance is amazing so it don't seem like anything is wrong.Haven't had it topped out yet, still breaking it in. But as I said before, it pulls like a train! One of the guy's at work is buying a wolverine saturday so i'm trembling like a bunny in anticipation of my first race!
There is nothing like a new toy to bring back some of your lost youth! I feel like a kid again who just got a new baseball glove and want's to go to bed at night with it.
Hmm...I wonder... no the wife would kill me!HaHa!
P.S. share some of your races and adventures with us...and LET HER RIP SHE'S BUILT FOR IT!!!

ROB.

Rob: The whining noise you hear is the KEBC engine braking system. It sounds like a whine, fairly loud too...at times almost as loud as the exhaust. It's totally normal, no worries.

I let a buddy of mine ride my 650 (he rides motocross and his fathers Honda Foreskin, I mean Foreman). He talked so much junk for weeks until I met up with him at this gravel pit. He was amazed. He said it sounds like it has a supercharger in it...I thought that was a good description.

As for the Wolverine...take a picture of his face full of dirt and bleeding from the rocks being thrown at him when you race him...oh yeah, use a zoom lens, you'll probably need it to actually see him in the photo.

Yep, I was concerned about that whine also, I got over it. By the way, if you sleep with the P-650 and the wife, don't make the 650 sleep in the "wet-spot"!

Kawirob....was driving over the highway on sunday with my quad in the back of my truck....when i got home the padded seat from the passenger seat was nowhere to be seen....it blew off.....$75 to replace....it had three snaps on the back of it and 2 on the front...i had the front ones let go to give me more room when i was on the bike by myself and i forgot to snap them when i finished...that's what allowed it to blow off....keep that in mind...as for the bike wheelying on you, i wouldn't worry about it unless it's a very steep hill....i had my brother on with me the weekend..he's 180 pounds....no problem....i sometimes have 2 youngsters on the back (no advice please).....just be aware of the extra weight and you'll be fine.

Let's put it this way, I've been riding sport quads for about 15 years. Anything from a 1987 Quadsport 230 to my current 400EX. This Prairie is so much fun to ride, I'm not sure the wife is going to get much time on it. HA!! I could see myself tricking this one out, big wheel kit, pipe, Progressive springs kit (if it's as good as billed... trx450, lemme know when you get yours) and then getting the wife something more tame. This quad is a blast to ride.

I just completed the break in period, getting ready to do my service. All I need to do now is practice riding wheelies so I can ride one as far as I can on my 400EX. I'll get it.

Every time I get on my P650, I hear that guy's voice on the radio ads for monster truck/tractor pull events. POWER POWER POWER!!!!
