I have tried to get some razzors, they are on back order. Then I got the hole shot XCT's for the front and have been waiting on some XCT's for the rear, now they are on back order.

How do you feel about the shreaders for trails and woods racing. Any good???

I checked out Shredders also before I got my Razrs, but to me they look like the tread would gump up if you got into anything wet. The tread blocks seem to be too close together to self clean. I could be wrong since I have no real life experience with these tires, but I don't think so. I have plenty of experience with mud versus closer grip truck tires-that's why I run Boggers on my Jeep-so I assume the same applies here
Have you tried at www.treadepot.com?-that's where I got mine-pretty good prices and seem like good people.

I have Shredders Gaff. They have been on my Lakota for about 1 1/2 years and are still at least half-3/4 tread. They work good in all conditions and clean as well or better than the Holshots I had before.

I would highly recommend them. Rocky Mountain is where I got mine and I had them in 3 days.

hay thanks guys...I felt the same way mordr, just no real life experience.

Thats a good review 98 lakota. Can you tell me if the overall hieght of the shreader 20" is actually 20". The reason I ask is the 20 " hole shots were realy 21" or 21.5" as I have been told.

I need the ground clearence but loosing a 1/2" of ground clearence on a tire that wieghs 3 pounds less a piece can come in handy during accelleration.

No big deal I just need to order these.

I can't believe that maxxis and ITP are out of the common sizes this early. You would think they would have some left.

I see were you can get them other than rocky mountain and tread depot but man they want as much as $30 more each for them, just not in the budget.

Thanks again guys!!!!

I'll measure them tonight, but if I remember correctly they are pretty close to 20".

Now that I think about it, I think I ordered them from Dennis Kirk.

Rocky Mountain $48.99
Dennis Kirk $53.99

The thing you have to remember is Dennis Kirk has free shipping!

I forgot about the free shipping, it's usually $20 for tires from rockymountain.

I think I may just order them. I have to hurry now, just when I thought I had every thing they keep getting me with this back order stuff.

If they are just 20" this should be max 1" ground clearence loss, but I believe they should be a lil higher, if not they can go to 6 psi's and that should get them up a little.

Thanks again,
Gaff

98lakota,

If you get a chance post those measurements.

I ended getting them from rocky mountain, $112 that includes shipping.

Couldn't find my size at dennis kirk and tread depot wanted to much for shipping.

Well lets hope these ones make it. 3rd set I ordered in the past month, hope no back order email comes my way.

Will be kinda tuff trying vanleer out on stock rear tires

Mine measure exactly 20" with 5.5 psi. New they were probably 20.5"

I think you will like them Gaff

Thanks 98lakota. I will have to like them. Any thing will be a inprovement over the stockers. I slide and spin so easy, it's a pain.

Now that I have the XCT's on the front you can't even feel the back braeks any more, but with the shreaders they will probably bite much harder. The XCT front bite so well while turning you forget about the rears, but when you get into the turns the rears braek loose every time on any terrain.

Well thanks alot!!!
