Recon for Girlfriend?
#1
I am thinking about buying a Recon for my girlfriend. I will be buying either a Rancher or the Foreman 4X4. Would this be a good machine for her, or should I try to find her a 4x4 too. This will be her first ATV, and money is a factor. Thanks for your info.

If money is a factor you'll not regret the Recon, however, this is off topic and may be out of line but, that is a rather expensive gift for a girlfriend.
I had a Recon and wish that I would have been able to keep it for my wife, but oh well.

I bought two last year, one for my wife and one for me. It's a great little bike. My Daughters both ride it also.
Other than playing in the mud or heavy work I see no need for 4x4. We've never needed it.
BTW I got a new Rancher ES Saturday,Like someone on this forum said "a Recon on steroids".

I had a recon befor I got my 450, man they are a fun little bike I would strongly recomend a 250 Recon, if your are thinkin about a 4x4 I would look at the new 350 rancher.

Don't take offense at my suggestion, but I would be sure to register which ever one you get in your name. Girl friends & boyfriends come & go, but registrations are forever. I know of a case where the guy bought two Blasters, one for him & one for her. They split up a month later. He had taken the dealer's advice & registered them both in his name.
