That Warp Drive guage does not give much info, do those hold up or is it cheap?
HERE is an ESR temp guage that I know will hold up. It has a liquid filed display and all aluminum housing.

HERE is another view.

It costs about $80.00.

Check out the temp guage at the bottom of this page, it also splices into the radiator hose http://www.lockhartphillipsusa.com/Daytona.html the hose looks like 19mm (if I'm reading this metric tape measure right)
