I have the speed and I'm in the 230+ range 6' tall. I have no problems on the Cannon. It's fast, rides good and pulls like a two stock.

If you need reverse get the Raptor. That is the only reason to get one though. The dale is superior in stock trim in every way possible. I had to make the same decision myself.

GET A CANNONDALE!! I rode the raptor and was not impressed at all. It's top heavy, suspension wasn't great and, the torque doesn't even come close to the SPEED!!!

I had both, the Raptor is now sold!! There is no comparison to how they ride, the quality of parts, etc. The Raptor is way to heavy and is too narrow, very tippy. You have to sink alot of money into the suspension to fix that problem and you will still have a lead sled. The cannondale's are new technology, the raptor is old technology, period!! Cannondale will stand behind their product unlike Yamaha.

No, thats not true. Oil changes are similar to all other quads. Some might argue even less often due to separate engine and trans oil. It could also be argued the oil will have less contaminates in it due to the fuel injection being cleaner than a conventional carb.

Corndiddy,
The engine isnt close to being tapped out, KNOWSALOT was talking about 52hp from head mods with stock components.

I usually change my oils after every other race or practice session.I do it just to be that much more confident in my equipment. It probley could go longer than that but thats just the way I am.I've done that with all my rides.

I have posted that I changed my oil after every other ride before in another thread,so I dont want to mislead anyone that it has to be done that way.
