I own an 87 Banshee and just yesterday while cleaning the K&N filter I noticed that the back of my air box is cracked from top to bottom, beyond repair, I'm trying to avoid the cost of a new one by finding a used one, if anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

You might consider buying the K&N filters that clamp directly to the carbs. They do away with the air box comletely, but they are pretty costly also. The let up for these usually run about $59.99 for the pair w/outerwears and then you'll also need the aluminum water resivoir relocator that usually runs $19.95. This is a pretty costly solution, but you'll also gain performance with this set-up.
