rancher vs. wolverine. was that fair.....

....but the rancher held its own. In the latest issue of dirt wheels the had a shootout between the two. the results were the wolverine was quicker accelerating, handled better at high speeds. the rancher was a plusher ride, and had more creature comforts. they reported the wolverine would be for chasin wolves, and the rancher for the ranch....duh. i'm gettin a rancher ASAP!!!!!

I think that it goes to show the sportiness of the rancher. The Wolverine is and was designed as the first sport 4 by. The two really are not in the same category but the magazines do this with quads that are well balanced between sport and utility. I didn't expect the Rancher to win when I started but that's why you read it to see how the two compare.

I still love my Polaris, but while in Nashville Tenn. On business I stopped by a Honda dealership to look at the Rancher it's very nice quad to me nicer than the Foreman, and I'm not knocking the Foreman. And i would foresure pick it over the Wolf chaser as I use a quad for work then play. The test was fair.

reliability, and honda proformance that no other atv can give because i don't now of any atv out there thats proven it self beter than honda.

I agree with the Rock the Kodiak is really nice. Before purchasing my current quad, I looked at the Honda 450 & Kodiak, the Kodiak was a faster & sportier ride. Then a Rancher test drive & Kawi well the Rancher won out over all. The Rancher is $700 less than the Kodiak. People preach it all the time the Honda reliability. The ATV club we joined is mostly Honda, that speeks for its self since the local dealership sells Honda, Yamaha, Arctic Cat, & Kawi.
The test was fair. Yamaha's tend to be faster that Hondas & Honda more reliable. Test drive both & pick the one that fits your needs. Yamaha & Honda in my opinion are the two best brands out there.

The Scrambler guys say you can't compare the Wolverine to Scramblers because it's not sport enough. Rancher guys say you can't compare them to Ranchers because they are too sporty.
I guess it kind of puts the spot light on the Wolveine, once again, as an excellent Sport/Utility machine.
