My tranny in my banshee feels kind of wierd. I think sometimes it won't go into 5th gear and then sometimes 6th.

Also, when I let out the clutch when downshifting I sometimes hear a clunk sound. What is this.

Also, how tight should my chain be. How do I know if it is set right?

Thanks

From what I know they suck. I've heard so many raptor and banshee owners complain about the transmissions. Some people say that yamaha trannys just aren't good period. I don't know, haven't been a yamaha oner for that long.

There is a adjustment for the tranny behind the clutch basket. If it is not adjusted correctly it will not shift properly.
