I am about to purchase a Honda 450s and can't decide which colour!!! I don't want to regret my decision afterwards. Readers poll, any opinions would be appreciated.

 

Well, I really dig, the yellow but its really hard to find however up here in the Northwest Red is the color that seems the is most popular.

 

What is this yellow craze all about with Bombardies,Polaris Sportsman a Honda foreman it's not a good trespassing color because they can see you a mile away.LOL>

 

I like the red... but the yellow is really cool. Its really your choice bud.

 

Then lighter colors will not show scratches as bad and look better after several years. The red and dark green look worse after the same treatment. I don't know about the process used to generate the colors now, but in years past the red on Hondas faded very badly.

 

My cousin has a yellow one and I like it better than their red one. get yellow!

So true....It first I just had to have the yellow. Then I wished I would have got red, Ride Red Ride Honda thing, ya know. But now I like my yellow cause everybody brags on it! It seems that the Yellow is more unique and people tend to notice and react to it more. I personally think the red Looks better, but like owning the yellow.

Somebody else mentioned fading. You do not notice fading as much with the yellow. But it does fade! YOu can really tell when you pull the little side panel off, that supposedly cover the pull start, and look at the back of it!! Big difference on mine.

 

My 450 is red,but I see alot more yellow down south in Mississippi.The red does fade easier,but after I wash mine I spray it with armorall and it shines like new!

 

Maybe you'll get lucky and Honda will come out with orange, like the Rancher. Then your decision will be an easy one.
