I USE THESE FILTERS ON MY YAMAHA, HONDA, CHEVY ,VW
THE WEB SITE DOES NOT LIST A RAPTOR
I EMAIL THE FOLKS AND THEY EMAILED ME BACK WITH THEIR PART NUMBER FOR THE RAPTOR BEST OIL FILTER AROUND AND LOOKS GREAT TOO BET THING I NEVER HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER OIL FILTER
AND I GET TOO SEE WHATS IN THE OIL TOO
SCOTTS PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS:
http//www.scottsperformance.com/indexmain.html
Superior Filtration:
This should be the last oil filter you will
ever buy! Made from laser cut, medical
grade, 304 stainless steel micronic filtercloth, this filter provides 200% more filter
area in many cases. Most good paperfilters will pass particles in the 90 to 95
micron range, some will pass particles inthe 300 micron range! A human hair is
about 40 microns, a white blood cell isapproximately 25 microns. Our stainless filter catches items down to 35microns "absolute", which is about 3 times better than most paper or brassfilters. The pleat seam is welded, able to withstand up to 600 degrees in our
filter, not glued, like paper filters.

Cleanable and reusable:
Simply remove the filter, rinse in clean solvent and replace it, you're done. The
filter can be cleaned with solvent, kerosene, aerosol carburetor cleaner, or any
other degreasing agent, even common dish soap. You can even blow air
through the filter from the inside out to remove any small particles or cleaning
agent from the screen if you so desire.:

Filter is $70.00 from the site listed. What is the part number for the Raptor? The site lists the part number for the 400ex.

Have to say they make some interesting points.

SOS, is the filter a system 1?
Is it an aluminum body that can be polished?
I've got System 1 filters on my buggie & race car & they work great, I'm gonna have to get one for my Raptor now I guess!

That thing looks pretty cool, I'll have to check one out. I pay about $11.00 for an oil filter around here so that oil filter would be alot cheaper in the long run. Thanks for the info.

THE MOSSE
DOES NOT LOOK TO BE A SYSTEM ONE
IF YOU REMENBER THE LONG STUFF I POSTED ON AMSOILS OIL'S AND ALT TO YAMAHA FILTERS ( LIST ALL THE SUB THAT COULD BE USED AND COST ) THE REALLY LONG ONES THATS ABOUT THE TIME I FOUND THIS FILTER
I RUN THE SYSTEM ONE FILTERS ON OUR SUPER COMP CAR ,THAT WHY I WENT LOOKING FOR ONE FOR THE ATV MOTORCYCLES ECT I'VE HAD THE SCOTTS ON THE RAPTOR FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS
NO PROBLEMS SAME GREAT QUALITY AS SYSTEM 1 ,
YES COULD POSLISH IT,I LIKE PAINT( WE RIDE IN THE WATER AND MUD ALOT )
I DO KNOW THIS THE SYSTEM ONE HAS BEEN PUSHED PASS 600 PSI PRESSURE TEST AND STILL WORKS
THANKS FOR THE SPACE
