1983 250R ???good price
#1
I have a chance to purchase this bike for $800.00 this thing is in pretty mint shape no cracks in frame everything is original except for tires never been rebuilt only prob I could see is that the head gasket looks like it needs to be replaced spiting exhaust out around the back of the head and a bit by the head pipe traces of oil leakeage around there also. Started first kick ran like a top just purring away also the rear end seemed a little shakey around the swing arm pivot area looks like maybe needs new bearings is this an expensive repair and from what I have said is it worth $800.00. This thing looks like it has never been ridden to hard nothing is bent or cracked and paint on frame still looks good.

I would give him offer like $ 600.00 if he has the title for it.
My brother bought an 1985- 250R for that price and ended up putting close to $3,000.00 into it, but now it will beat some of the Banshee's up Comp hill, and it's a real head turner, appraised at over $ 5,000.00.
