The brakes on the rear of my 2001 A/C 500 4x4 quad wore out with only 300 miles on them, though the pads on the foot brake were fine. I felt that this was to early has anyone else had this problem? I also have a 300 A/C 4x4 and the brakes on it are fine and it has 955 miles on it. How long should brake pads last?

I replaced my pads on my 2000 A-C Auto at about 600 miles. The rear pad was worn clear though to the backer plate; it was half gone. I replaced them with metallic A-C pads and they look good with around 50 miles on them. I must tell you that I ride a lot of mud (we did a whole 8 miles today in about 4 hours...).
