i see there is a lowering kit for the raptor but you have to remove the front head lights to raise the shock mounts. Is anyone using this kit and how is it working out? also does anyone know of maybe softer springs to let the raptor sink a little more so it does not like to roll over in turns.i know turning the front rims helped but still sits high.

It Lowered Mine!!
Self sagging device allows your quad to sit about 1-2" lower depending on your set up without sacrificing overall wheel travel. ~~~~~~OFF ELKA'S WEBSITE~~~~~~~~

The "no preaload" feature give the suspension maximum traction and stability at the beginning of the stroke while ensuring excellent impact resistance at the end of it. This feature lowers the height - and therefore the centre of gravity - of the ATV, resulting in easier turns and better weight transfer

I instaled the front end lowering kit from CFM Performance last week. You do not have to remove the headlights. I have only had it out for about 5 minutes but I like it so far. It lowered the front 4". It just lunges forward now without trying to raise the front wheels. The ride is a little stiffer. I bought it on Ebay for $75 including shipping. You can see pictures of it at this link. Take a look and let me know what you think.

There is a new lowering kit that 14mins has and it is better than the others. It is for the lower front of the Raptors and the machined fit is better because it resist the flop that the other kits have to flop around when the front wheels come up. The best part is that it is cheaper than the other kits and the quality is better. I tried it out today and the quality and looks are a lot better than the others. Look for more QUALITY parts from 14mins. I am, and with imput from others he will make or have made what is in demand at good prices. I have ask him for a rear lowering setup and he says it is on the way along with many other performance and dress up parts parts for the Raptor and other quads.

That one is on the upper side of the shocks, 14mins lowering kit is on the lower side of the shocks so the lights can say on. The design of the kit also resist the problems with jumps like the others.
