Writer looking for help on ATV racing
#1
Hi Everyone,
I'm a writer and a men's magazine has asked me to cover the "wildest, wackiest" ATV race around. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need something that's fairly big or well-established, not just two crazy guys going up a mountain?
But does anyone have any ideas? It could be racing or possibly an endurance ride or even a mountain climbing contest?
Thanks for your help in advance.
Best,
Michael Verdon

Take a loke at this on our website about our race. The Flat River Grand Prix. This is a charity hare scrambles and poker run with all of the money going to the March of Dimes. Also, starting tonigh we are sellinf a donated signed jersey from Tim Farr.

Michael,
Here in New England we have a well established MX series. One of our usual tracks is the famous Southwick MA Moto338.
On September 29th, we will have a race at Southwick. But what makes this race so special? It was annouced to us recently that Nacs (largest ATV race parts supplier) will be sponsoring the event as a memorial race for Darren Naccarato. He founded the Nacs Racing and died in 1998 due to cancer. His parents (who now run Nacs) will be putting up $5000 purse for the race.
Not only will you be getting a national caliper track, a very large turnout (close to 300)of local riders, but a lot of the pros are scheduled to appear as well. So the racing action should be good, but the story of Darren would be a nice backdrop for your story.
