Ok, first off i have a 02 400ex bone stock. where i ride it is quite muddy, a few creeks and in some parts dusty. what my question is, is how do i modify my air box and how would i or how would i not benefit from doing this such procedure? When you reply, please tell in detail how to modify the box and such. thank you for your time and your replies.

 

If I where you I would drill approx. 4-6 1 in. holes in the airbox lid. Get your self some of the little blue airbox mod filters from denniskirk.com and I would get a UNI filter with outerwears also from Denniskirk.com.

playin in the mud and slop and water i wouldn't do a thing to it.leave it close . just get a K&N and a jet kit realy wakes the ex up .

 

when i get the k&n do i still need to get outerwears for it or not?

 

for the few bucks it cost i would say so not a bad thing to get saves on the cleaning of the filter some and well worth the money keeps the bigger stuff of the filter .

 

how much is the K&N filter for my ex?
