Not a place to ride, but definetly a place in WNY to avoid... the Seneca Indian Reservation. Was riding last weekend around Steamburg (near Salamanca) and later found out that we were on reserve land. Apparently we could have had our atv's taken on the spot ... to me that seems unbelievable, but apparently true

When your on the reservation, anything goes. They can take your quad and there is absolutely nothing you can do about. Salamanca is a great place to ride. I've only been there twice, but it was a lot of fun. I haven't been to the dice run in a couple years, but about two years ago my friend and I went to the dice run warm up area, asked the guy who lived nearby if we could ride there and he said yes, and that if we had any problems just to go and see him. I dont have any clue what its like now a days though.

The best thing you can do is join some atv clubs around your area (if any). They usually have private riding areas that you can go to.

Check out www.nytroatv.org

Hope this helps!
