I used to own a 96 300ex that was built up a little bit,,air box mods, piped, tires, jetted, hotter plug, racing fenders, renthal, nerf bars, ac bumper and grab bar,, all that stuff,it had enough power that i was runnin a 152 main jet instead of the stock 123 or 128 (i forget which it is),, anyway, one of my friends bought it a couple days ago off another guy,, it's been beatin up a little bit, fenders look rough,, and it's in need of a tuneup BADLY.. now,, i have a 1987 nissan 4x4, v-6 5-speed, it has a chrome roll bar,, 4 off road lights,,, nice wide wheels, and 31X10.50 mudders. the paint job is nice,, but i wrecked it a while back... i bashed up the driver side fender a lil bit,, and broke 2 a-arms,,, but i have the a-arms to fix it with... what i was wondering,,, should i offer him a trade for my old 300ex back??? i miss it dearly,, and i really really want another quad,,but i have no money.... any reply would be great,, and i'm kinda in a hurry...thanx..

Kelly Blue Book says $2850 for the 300EX, it has mods so it ads some value but you said it hasn't been kept in top shape so take alittle away and you back to $2850. Go for it !!!

 

Kelly Blue is wrong,, you aint gonna get 2850 out of a 96 300ex in rough shape,, at least not around here,, around here, quads go for cheap... he only gave 1700 for the 300ex,, but it's prolly worth about 2200-2500 around here,,, i only want 2000 for my nissan.....
