cracked 400ex a-arm, what kind of weld?

I cracked to top half of my right a-arm and need to know what kind of weld to have done. Will a regular weld work or does it need to be heliarced, and if heliarced do I have to unplug all the electrical parts? Thanks

u could use almost any kind of weld. i would use Tig or mig. stay away from arc welding it. just my oppinion i had good luck with the top 2

have you tried geting a new one from a dealer . i bent a lower and it was only $50 for a new one . as for welding a A arm im not sure i would do it . but im silly like that.
