Hello,
Well been trying out ATVs for the past few weeks.
Looking at buying a used on for cost reasons. Looking for a good general purpose one for plowing and play time.
Have it narrowed down to two ATVs. 98 Arctic Cat 300 manual 4x4 stock for $3000 or a 2000 Arctic Cat 500 auto 4x4 with Warn Winch for $4100
Both with about 1300 miles.
Looking to see which you would choose between these 2.

Well... If the 300 is anything like the 2002 300 you might be a little low to the ground for the plow. Don't get me wrong it could do it. But you won't be able to lift the plow very high.

For a little more you could get a 2002 375. I paid $4995 for mine before the $500 for accessories or $300 off of a machine. I got mine out the door for $5145 + tax, which included the winch and plow.

 

Well,
I got the 2000 Cat 500A. After 18 miles and 2.5 hrs I still love it!!!
Drove them both again and decided on the 500, I just felt that If I got the 300 I would have wanted more. Got a better deal on the 500 too, so that helped.

I did look at the 375 but would have had to wait for the 2003s as they were in short supply.
