Guys, let me know when you go. I ride/race at Birch Creek in Danville, VA any time I can. The next time I could make it on a sat. ride is like June 15. My friends and I are going to Sussex to practice tomorrow but that is quite a hike from Greensboro.

If you are interested Birch Creek is open saturday on non race weekends it costs $10 practice runs from like 10 am to 5 pm. All you need for safety equiptment to practice is basically a helmet.

I have no set date nor a set track yet, I am trying to see how many are intrested. I know of Rolling Hills MX in Reidsville NC where I have been several times. There is a small intermediade track that has mostly small tabletops and whoops, then there is the pro track. The pro track is very long with huge jumps and steep hills. Its more wide open. The cost is $10 for a day of riding and you only need a helmet. I have heard great things of East Bend MX in NC but I havnt been yet. Does Birch Creek have a web site?

East Bend is a techinical track they have changed it since last year, but it looked pretty tough when I was there for the TT race a month or so ago. It has a long whoop section, and several 35' or longer doubles. It also has some tabletops that are about 50'.

Birch Creek has a website birchcreekmotorsports.com it is a tough track longer and much tougher than Rolling Hills. It has 3 40' doubles two of which are right before corners, one 55' double, one 55' tabletop, one 30' tunnel jump which launches you down a long hill, a 105' triple which has yet to be completed by a quad, Chad Lohr, Nathan Dallas, Dave Diver and a few others have tried, but all came up just a litte short. There are several other jumps on the track, but these are all the big ones.

There is also a mx track in Yadkinville, NC it is called Thunder Valley. It is a pretty fun track but it has alot of downhill doubles which are rhythm sections, and that can be kinda tough.
