Didnt want to post this till the ink was on the paper. My engine was blowing oil. Now there is several reasons for the engine blowing oil. Only one is because of a bad engine, that is what mine was. All of the other reasons are totally fixable. Glue in the blow by tube, the tubes on the right side of the engine full of oil, those are all fixable and your engine is totally stable. I have a very early FX engine in mine and my engine was blown(probably why disturbed660r beat me in the hill race, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] )
But none the less Cannondale is giving me a new engine, with the hydraulic clutch and the 100ecu computer. Now before everyone (corndog...couldnt resist) the ECU has nothing to do with the problem, but the 1000 is all they have now...AND I have to pay for it, the computer that is. Everything else is free. Hats off to Cannondale, I will be their customer FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad thing is I wont have it for two weeks. arghhhh.

 

Thats cannondale for ya, they know how to treat there customers right.

 

Thats good to hear... So what do you have to pay for the computer? Was corny telling the truth about the $900 price tag on the ECU?

that is good news about you getting a free engine, I have an fx and they gave me a new motor AND computer for free. Whats the deal with them charging you for the computer?

I also have early Cannibal with bad engine- will getting a new engine and 1000 computer very shortly.A great company and a great dealer. I was at the dealer couple of days ago to have my Moto fuel injection adjusted ( it was a bit rich from the factory) anyhow, another customer was ahead of me and he wanted to make a appointment to get his bike serviced and the service guy said "we are a bit short of help right now so the next available date is the 20th of June". After the customer left I said that I need to bring my Moto in to have it adjusted and when can I bring it in? The service guy said "tomorow morning so we can get you going again". They know that I'm racing mx with the Moto and are very helpful. After adjusting the injectors it about ripped off my arms!! it revs up real quick.Will be racing it today.

Its just a fact that a customer paying 13000 is gonna get in before a customer paying 5000. Try to take a yugo to a Lexus dealer and see how soon you appointment is.

 

now now trout, im sorry ur dale coudln't handle getting beat by a raptor. i don't think that was the reason i beat u, cuz i also beat that other dale w/ the moto remap and the hmf. hey im getting a new motor too... whats it called...? i think its called the 686 hummm? wonder if it is any good? well i'll be at walden the 8 and 9th and then the 14 15th so maybe we can race w/ ur &quot;new&quot; motor.
