My wife's trailboss has several spots on the white plastic that are stained. Particularly around the gas fill area where gas has spilled and stained the plastic. I tried using bleach white to no avail. Does anyone have a cleaner that will remove these stains? Thanks for the help.

I was reading ealier in the tech section and a guy brought this up. He said to clean the plastic with contact cleaner and then to make it shine, use some stuff called three bond detail. Don't know if it works but I am gonna try it also.

The contact cleaner the article was talking about I believe it just plain old electrical contact cleaner. I had just looked up their web-site www.threebond.com and emailed them about where to buy it and I haven't got an email back yet. I'll post the info as soon as I get it. I also have a friend that works for Southwestern bell that splices fiber. He has some kind of a plastic cleaner that says works great for cleaning his atv as well. I don't know what the name of it is though. I'm sure it is some kind of industrial cleaner. Its funny you posted this question today, cause I was wondering the same thing earlier.

Advance auto has this stuff called Orange Blast which is great for taking stains out of plastic, My brothers 92 Banshee is white and it looks great after using the stuff and putting a little son of a gun protectant on afterwards.

We have two large distributors, Parts Unlimited and Tucker Rocky. You can
call them and ask for the nearest dealer stocking the item. The numbers

I used Autosol polish (yes, the stuff you use to polish aluminum) and it wored really well. Just don't use the same rag full of black stuff you used for a piece of aluminum!
