I am really interested in picking up a Tecate 4 and restoring it. Are they incredibly hard to find? I saw one last weekend and loved it. How much should I be prepared to spend on a fixer upper? Anyone know of any for sale? Thanks!

 

I have one for sale in Northern California. Mine is tricked out for the desert and dunes. I am asking $4500 with a lot of spare parts.

Try cycletrader.com and ebay. There're the 2 best sites other than local media. You'll find'em. Whether or not you find one in fair shape for restoration is another story. ask killerKX. He would have a better idea. He's in this forum so he'll probably see this or you can post a thread for him. I've seen them go as low as the high teens all the way to 4000+ dollars. Depends on the shape of the quad. THEN you need to get in the loop on where to go for parts. Good luck.
