2000 Trailblazer makes weird noises

I really need help here i can't figure this out.My 2000 trailblazer is making clicking sound that almost sounds like the chain is loose but it is not cause i have tightened it. I keep the chain well oiled. I also thought the chain might be hitting the chain guard so i removed the but it continued making the noise. I'm pretty sure it is coming from the chain or something in that area but not positive. Thanks

My trail boss did the same thing.I found that it came from the master link in the chain.It may comefrom a different spot in the chain though.What i did is replace the chain it was 60$,it may sound like alot but it sloved all of my problems if you have any other qustions ill be glad to help.

my tb has done that 2 times now in the past year. when i was checking it out i noticed that the teeth on the front sprocket were wore down alot and the chain was slipping over it. it will still move but makes a clicking sound. i only paid $8 for mine. hope this helps.
