Well I am open that weekend and I am looking for somewhere to go riding that isn't all that far from Northern UT. I was thinking ST. Anthony's or Little Sahara UT. I have never ridden either so it's all good. Or just some good ol trail and road riding is all good as well. What is everyone else doing?

I was thinking the same as you. But I dont know which one. I want to do st. anthony, but it may be late to get a camp site at the campground.

Well lets see where others are going and then I will try to decide.

I am not sure but I think on the average St. Anthony's is cooler than Little Sahara temp wise. I think that Little Sahara sounds good for now. I am thinking save the ST. for when LS is just to hot. But I really dont care I just want to ride. If I go to LS a few times in a row then thats cool, besides I do want to check it out so I can give a fair comparison of them all.

 

Demon, it doesnt look like people are going any where.

I think I will be at little sahara, for this weekend. My next trip in the next few weeks will be to st. anthony.

Anyway, I should be down there Friday evening and will be at oasis. You know my truck, and I will have the camper behind it. 28' desert fox.

well now I am not sure, it looks like the temps at little sahara are going to be mid 90's.

St. anthony looks like mid 70's.

hhmmmm.

I dont think I can get a campsite at st. anthony campground, it is kind of late.

Is the blm camping area ok or is it no fun. I have a camper, so I am not worried about bathrooms and such.

Is there a dumpstation close to that area. Can you camp there and be comfortable.

I dunno, do some searches on it and see what you can find, I know Wyodunner has been there alot, maybe he could let ya know. The one problem I have is all my camping gear is in WY. That will make St. Anthony's a bit tough, but I could figure something out. I know the camp ground is supposed to be very nice.

Like I have said a million times before, Put up some money!!! Maybe we could start up a betting pool. For everyone who is wondering, he just has a Yoshi pipe and K&N. So what do you all think, a betting pool and I will put up $500.00 with him for head to head. That way I can pay the gas just to get there. Race has to be best out of three so there is no excuses, Bad start, missed a gear, ect. In case of a failure, repairs can be made, but if it cannot be fixed that weekend, forfit. So that infamous Raptor tranny better hold up under all that supposed power.

Bat, Personally I would rather go to LS and next time head to St. Anthony's when it is like 110 at LS and 85 at St.

Anyway.... bat & Demon, I posted some more info in the Dunes forum about St. Anthony. If you go you will probably not have a choice as to where to stay since the "resort" is PROBABLY booked by now. Demon, If you don't have all of your camping gear you may not like the BLM camp since there is nothing but the toilets there - no water, electric, etc... Maybe no shade if you don't get a good spot.

Disturbed, I MAY be at Walden this Saturday. I have to see what my Doctor says since I am still recovering from my lung problem... I'll let you know if I'll be there.
