i am wanting to buy a new quad. right now i have a warrior and it has been great but i just need ore power. i really wanted a 400ex but ever since this new z400 from suzuki came out i am confused and dont know what i should but i mean by the specs the z400 looks better but my cousin had a 400ex and he rides it really hard and it rund grat still to this day so i know that they are really dependablr but i am not sure about the z400 so if you could give me any help i would really appriciate it

 

I just sold a 400ex. The only place the ex lagged to any quad was in power. Not much of a difference in woods or mx racing, but out here in the dunes the ex's are hurting. The handling makes up for the power short comings on hard packed. Both are great quads. Suzuki has risen the bar once again. No it doesn't have the power of a 650/660 but the handling will once again make up for that. The Z is water cooled, dual overhead cam and has reverse. The Honda is rock solid on reliability the Z is ????? for the time being. Big bores are out for both, but w/ watercooling you get longer use out of everything. Good luck!!!
