Replacing the 500 belt with a 700 belt, gotta install a drain plug in the cowling before I give it a try. I'll get back to you folks and let you know if it helps.

 

Got out today and it made a noticeable difference, earlier engagement especially in high gear. don't know if it's related to it being a new belt or truely the 700 belt is a little better than the 500 belt. Simple mod for a little improvement.
