I'm looking to buy an atv in the near future. I have a honda 300 4x4 that's great but just dosen't have the power and speed I want. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. My only thing is it needs to have two wheel four wheel shift option, like the polaris.

I would go with The Grizzly myself. It has plenty of power and seems to be very reliable, but thats just me.

The Kawi P650 is top dog right now according to most. It's an awesome machine with the features you're looking for. Like any of the big bores, it will cost some bucks!

I ride mainly mud pits and some hills. So I was mainly looking for a sport utility. I looked at the polaris sportsman but they didn't really have the get up and go like the 5 speed that I have. they had plenty of power. The 500 was great, but lacked that starting torgue I'm looking for. I think it may be because of the automatic tranny. What do you think of the 500 scrambler.

Alot of my buddies have straight sport bikes. I'll tell you what they just can't keep up once we hit the mud pits. Unless we stop to pull them out. Maybe if I lived in Arizona I would buy a sport bike, but in NORTHERN OHIO where the weather changes every five minutes. I need 4x4. But thanks for the input.

I looked at the grizzly but all the dealers what too much money. So far the only dealer that is willing to work w/ me is Polaris. I know their not the best but a 500 sportsman for 5,600 is hard to pass up. A few of my buddies have the grizzly and love it. Ijust Don't have the coin to drop 6,500 on a bike. And none of the other yamaha's have the independant rear suspension for ground clearance. Thanks for your thoughts. If you have any others please let me know.

Go try out a 500 Scrambler 4x4, I think you might like it. It has the same ON DEMAND

true 4x4 in a Little sportier package. The only negative is NO LOW RANGE but it will eat up your

buddies all out sports when the mud comes. The Scrambler will have that Out of the whole snappy

feel that the sportsman does not have. I think the 500 Scrambler 4x4 is exactly what you are

looking for.

Hey Bubba, thanks for the advice I was actually at polaris again today and they had a deal I don't think I can pass up. It was a sportsman 400 for 5,200 bucks out the door. But I did look at the scrambler and it's a great bike just they want too much money and not much ground clearance.
