I need to adjust the sag in my rear shock. So big deal, but when i went to do the adjustment the lock nut wouldnt budge! You have to turn it counter clockwise right? How can I get this thing to move? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

Yeah, loosen the locknut counterclock, then adjust the nut against the spring as needed. Its hard to get a spanner in the tight area - one that fits a ratchet works best. My locknut was really tight too - had to bust it loose with a couple hammer blows against a brass punch, so as not to mar the nut all up.

See if you can find a way to compress the spring. I used a rachet strap anda jack to do mine. use the strap to hold the compressed spring and then the jack to spread out the quad again. you can easily adjust it then. sounds complicated but think about how it all works and you'll see what I mean.

Demon - I think the complication is from the lock nut, above the adjuster nut - he can't get it loose.

Yah I know, I had that same problem. I beat the heck out of mine and it would not budge, even with WD40. Thats how I finally got it loose so I could finally adjust the adjusting nut. I think it just had the pressure through out the whole thing if you know what I mean.
