I recently bought a 1999 3004X4. I did not get a manual and am still waiting for one to come from the dealer. I am wondering what type of oil I should be running. Also, I have found the drain for the front gear oil but can't see where you put it back in. I also need to know what type and how much oil goes in there. Thanks!

You should have an emission sticker somewhere on your ATV. Our 300's was back by the battery.

On our 2002 300 it shows that we need to use 10W40 with a "Service Rating: SE, SF, or SG". Not sure how much.

I assume the engines are the same... From looking from the back, the oil fill hole is on the right hand side. It is a big "thumb" screw cap. Be sure to clean around it before removing it.
