has any one ever used these? are they any good? i run my DS without the airbox lid and thought this would be a better,more cheaper way than a outerwear. and also, since i cant find a outerwear to fit my UNI filter, would a custom K&N prefilter fit on my UNI filter? are they the same dimensions?

 

Hey! No Kids posting on the Forums! Just Kidding, Yeah, I've seen those, I was actually thinking of getting them, couldn't hurt to try it, aren't they only a couple bucks?

I don't know about the prefilters fitting on a UNI, but a K&N filter is not a foam one, like the UNI filter is, so a normal UNI would probably filter finer dirt than a Prefilter equiped K&N, so I don't think you need a prefilter. But If you insist on one, I have a K&N, and I could go measure it, and you could measure your UNI filter, and we could compare.
