First off, did I even spell that word right?.......Anyways, how do you guys say Bombardier? Like bum-bar-dee-aye, or bomba-deer? Most Canadians seem to say it the first way, but me and all my friends say it the second way....just a little curiuos, that's all......

 

The correct way is, bom-bar-dee-a, but myslef and everyone else I knwo pronounces it as, bom-ba-deer

 

You are right, it is said like the 1st one on your post, but I always say it the second way too.

 

Like this: Bom-Bar-Dee-A. With the last part- the "A", kind of like the way that Fonz from Happy Days would say AAAY![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I have also heard someone post about this earlier and mentioning it also pronounced like: Bom-Bar-Dijay. The guys from Bombardier pronounce it Bom-bar-dee-aye when they are down here at Carlisle checking on the belts for their sleds. The Bombardier people are sticklers for quality.
